Rotorua – Redwood Forest Memorial Grove Walk

Dog friendly walk – Wander through the peaceful Memorial Grove, where towering redwoods rise above soft forest trails and filtered light creates a calm, grounding atmosphere. This gentle walk offers an easy escape into Rotorua’s iconic redwood forest, with wide paths, serene bush, and plenty of space to slow down and enjoy the stillness of nature.

Distance and Time: 2km about 30 minute walk

Rotorua – Centennial Park

Dog friendly walk – A peaceful pocket of native bush in Rotorua, filled with tall trees, birdsong, and quiet walking tracks that wind through the forest. It’s a calm, green escape close to the city, offering gentle trails, shaded picnic spots, and a soothing natural atmosphere ideal for slow walks, filming nature, or simply unwinding among the trees.

Dog friendly walk – is a gentle loop that winds through redwoods and lush fern undergrowth. It’s an easy walk with wide, well‑maintained paths, perfect for a relaxed stroll.

Distance and Time: 3.6km about 40 minute walk
